Free eye clinic was held in Mahahual in
January thanks to Tara Shield´s organization In Lak´ech Project, established
after Hurricane Dean to bring medical care to our community. Four
optometrists-opticians from Florida provided assessment and glasses to 178
people in Mahahual. Prescription glasses will come next month. Visit
